Everest Academy Celebrates Fatherhood at its Finest

Lower School celebrated Father’s Day last March 4, 2016. The event started with a special First Friday/Father’s Day Mass celebrated by Fr. Luis Miguel. He highlighted the importance of guidance and mentoring from fathers and most especially from God, who is the “father of all fathers.”  The event honoured and thanked all fathers for taking good care of their children and for sacrificing themselves to provide for them. This year’s Father’s Day festivities also featured a variety of fun and interactive stations which showcased the different talents of our Everest dads.  There was a challenging basketball shoot-out game, a very competitive handball battle and an exciting dancing station- all of which were enjoyed immensely by the fathers and their children.  The event as a whole served as a simple way of showing gratitude and saying “thank you” to all the “men of the day”.
