REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION OF SCHOLARSHIP

  1. Pre-Examination
    1. For incoming Grade 9 applicants: Completed Application Form, Original Copy of Report Card from Grades 6, 7 and 8 (1st Sem) or Original Transcript of Records containing grades of applicant in Grades 6, 7 and 8 (1st Sem). For incoming Grade 10 applicants: Completed Application Form, Original Copy of Report Card from Grades 7, 8 and 9 (1st Sem) or Original Transcript of Records containing grades of applicant in Grades 7, 8 and 9 (1st Sem). For incoming Grade 11 applicants: Completed Application Form, Original Copy of Report Card from Grades 8, 9 and 10 (1st Sem) or Original Transcript of Records containing grades of applicant in Grades 8, 9 and 10 (1st Sem).
    2. Three (3) clear photocopies of No. 1 above.
    3. Accomplished Recommendation Forms, from the Dean of Students, Prefect of Discipline, or Guidance Counsellor of the school currently enrolled in.
    4. 600-700 word formal essay to answer the question: "Why should I be given the chance to be an Everest Academy Scholar?" written with the following specifications:
      (a) Original authorship,
      (b) Using standard-sized bond paper,
      (c) Handwritten, and
      (d) Fastened in a folder
      (e) Assertions in the essay should be supported by documentary evidence (clear photocopies).
  2. Examination
    1. Three-part examination taken by appointment (or as scheduled) on a single day.
      Part 1: Language and composition (1 hour)
      Part 2: Science and technology (1 hour)
      Part 3: Mathematics and problem solving (1 hour)
  3. Post-examination
    1. Interview of the Applicant by a panel consisting of any three of the following: the Executive Director, Principal, Dean/Coordinator, Formation Instructor/Chaplain, Teacher.
      a. Originals of the documentary evidence presented in the essay should be brought to the interview.
      b. In formal attire or the official school attire of the school currently enrolled in.
    2. Follow-up interview, if needed.

In order to maintain the scholarship, scholars are expected to make it to the Honor Roll by the end of the school year and must not incur any behavioral infractions that result in suspension.

Basic Tuition: Php 267,041.00 - WAIVED
