Our History

Everest Academy Manila opened in August of 2007. It was brought to the Philippines with the help of the first Filipino members of Regnum Christi, an apostolic movement within the Catholic Church comprised of Legionary and diocesan priests, seminarians, consecrated men and women, and lay people throughout the world who serve the evangelizing mission of the Church. It is the first Regnum Christi School in Asia and the first Catholic international school in the Philippines. It is also one of over 200 Regnum Christi schools in 16 countries around the world.

Regnum Christi and Legionaries of Christ Regnum Christi (Latin for “Kingdom of Christ”) is a movement within the Catholic Church that helps people live their faith deeply and gets them involved in works of service to bring others closer to God.

Regnum Christi shares the spirituality and working principles of the Legionaries of Christ, a religious congregation of priests and men preparing for the priesthood. The Regnum Christi family includes consecrated members, lay people, diocesan priests, and permanent deacons. It numbers about 30,000 people worldwide.
