Message from the Executive Director
Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Everest Families and Staff,
It is an honor and a privilege for me to have been called to serve in Everest Academy in Manila. In this first month at Everest I have already witnessed in numerous occasions the commitment and dedication of faculty, staff and parents in bringing to fruition our mission of forming Christian Leaders who will be able to impact the world around them.
In my years collaborating in other schools in America, I have always found that our method of Integral Formation is a very effective way of achieving excellence in education and formation of well rounded individuals. It has been a joy for me to confirm the careful implementation of Integral Formation here at Everest, with emphasis being given to all four areas of formation: intellectual, human, spiritual and apostolic. The pursuit of excellence in academics has been made manifest to me in success of our students in the MTAP competition, their public speaking contest, the learning environment in our classrooms, and the personal attention our teachers provide to the students. The formation in character development and virtues is implemented through the excellent work of motivation and discipline of the formation team, the fostering of the virtue of gratitude through campaigns, presentations, songs, etc. Spiritual life is being fostered through class masses, retreats, visits to the Eucharist, moments of prayer, good examples, etc. Our students are coming into contact with Christ‟s personal love for Him and desire to respond with their good behavior. We can be proud and grateful for the fact that our students at Everest are being taught to make a difference in the life of others. A few of our students visited a children‟s hospital this weekend, others are planning a sports tournament for the underprivileged, every week they are being exposed to different things they can do for others in their “participation social classes”. For all of these, I thank God and each one of you.
With the assurance of my prayers,
