Our History

Everest Academy Manila opened in August 2007. It was brought to the Philippines with the help of the first Filipino members of Regnum Christi, an apostolic movement within the Catholic Church comprised of Legionary and diocesan priests, seminarians, consecrated men and women, and laypeople throughout the world who serve the evangelizing mission of the Church. It is the first Regnum Christi School in Asia and the first Catholic international school in the Philippines. It is also one of 154 Regnum Christi schools in 19 countries around the world.

Regnum Christi and Legionaries of Christ

Regnum Christi (Latin for "Kingdom of Christ") is a Federation (within the Catholic Church) comprised of four vocations: Legionaries of Christ (the priestly congregation), Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi, Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi and the Lay Members of Regnum Christi. Regnum Christi has a Christ-Centered spirituality that is lived together in communion with all members (all four vocations), in union with the whole Church, and through a mission to build the kingdom of Christ. Regnum Christi is made up of over 25,000 members throughout 38 countries world-wide. For more information, visit www.regnumchristi.org and www.legionariesofchrist.org.
